It's been a while

So how about those Astros? I never thought I'd say it but I think....I think...I might possibly like baseball. And it didn't happen with the Yankees. It didn't happen with the Pirates. It's the Astros that I can't help but love. Tonight (against St. Louis) was a drag but it only made me love them more.....

So the new website is up. Hallelujah people can you believe it. Let's hear it for Paul Otterball:-) A prince among men.

The new website is up. The Grace band is awesome. The other band is awesome too with Chris Blue on bass. A youngster but very talented. You can spot him in the gallery section - the pics from the well. Steve Brown is in the Grace band with us. Steve Brown is a Houstonian by way of NY and LA. He was in my band in 1998-99, in NYC. And here we are again. Amazing how that works. God is good and also goofy.

I've been so grateful for the opportunity to worship with the Grace folks and lead music. It's been such a great experience so far. New place, new people, new sound. I feel like I'm learning and the people have been so loving and supportive.

I get frustrated sometimes when I think about how much I want to do with Love + Rescue - but I remember how waiting is, somehow, still a part of my call. God is giving me pieces of my dreams to grow into and savor, and I have to remember that. He knows me better than I know what I need.

Alex is in L.A. Perhaps starting an inspiring run in the city of Angels. Possibly bringing his amazing gifts to the good people out there. Perhaps making friends with the chicks of Dixie, with the famous Jim Scott and spending quality time with the lovely Ellen Warfield who took the pictures of Alex and me on my site, and who I've known since she was 15.
